FairShare terms of use

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms apply when you use FairShare, an app published by Even Oars, the trading name of Cristian Plaiu (Spain). By creating an account you accept them. Contact: support@evenoars.com.

The service

FairShare helps you and a partner keep track of shared costs and work out who owes whom. It is free to use. We may add, change or remove features, and if we ever offer paid features, their price and terms will be shown clearly before you buy.

Your account

Not financial advice

FairShare does arithmetic on the figures you and your partner enter. It does not give financial, tax or legal advice, and it does not move money. How you settle up is up to you. We work hard to make the calculations correct, but please check anything important.

Fair use

Do not misuse FairShare: for example, by trying to access other people's data, disrupting the service, or using it for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

We aim to keep FairShare running and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or free of errors. You can download your data at any time from Account → Download my data. If we ever close the service, we will tell you in advance so you can download it.

Liability

FairShare is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using FairShare and delete your account at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can also rely on the mandatory laws of the country where you live and bring a claim there.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date above, and for important changes we will tell you in the app before they apply.

How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.
